Andrew Luing D.C.

Dr. Andy Luing is the owner of Dynamic Family Chiropractic in Minnetonka Minnesota. Dr. Andy has been practicing in Minnetonka since 1996. His unique treatment style includes chiropractic, soft tissue techniques, exercise and dietary instruction. He has expertise in laser therapy for pain relief and decompression treatment for herniated discs.

He has treated thousands of patients, with a wide variety of ailments, from the professional athlete to the colicky infant. His extensive experience and anatomical knowledge come not only from education but also from his experience working with athletes as a personal trainer, helping them improve their health and performance. His previous experience as a personal trainer gives him a unique perspective on the treatment and rehabilitation of a variety of conditions. Dr. Andy absolutely loves his job and looks forward to helping patients every day.

EXPERTISE ON HEALTH AND FITNESS

Dr. Andy has worked with professional athletes in his practice, but gets special joy from seeing regular people attain good health and adopt healthy lifestyles. Dr. Andy dedicates as much of his time and expertise as a wellness coach as to his role as a chiropractic physician.

When not actively helping his patients and training athletes, Dr. Andy Is an avid fisherman and weight trainer. When you don’t find Dr. Andy in the office or gym, he’s out chasing largemouth bass on Lake Minnetonka, supporting his children’s sports activities and spending his time with wife and family.

Riley Schmitz D.C., M.S.

Dr. Schmitz was born and raised in Taopi, a small town in southeast Minnesota. After graduating high school he attended Winona State university where he received his bachelors degree in exercise science. After graduating from Winona State, Dr. Schmitz moved to the twin cities where he attended Northwestern Health Sciences University to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

While obtaining his DC he also received his masters in exercise science from Concordia University St. Paul. This is a heavy work load and no small feat! Dr. Schmitz has been active his whole life and enjoys helping others be able to do the same. Dr. Schmitz was drawn to chiropractic by his love of science, learning about the human body and his passion for helping others stay healthy. Dr. Schmitz emphasizes patient education and using a multi disciplinary treatment plan to help patients get better faster. Treatment plans include a combination of soft tissue modalities such as instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization, and rehabilitative exercises. When he is not treating patients Dr. Schmitz enjoys activities like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, weightlifting, and being active outdoors.

On my massage table I do my best to deliver the massage experience that is right for you. Eleven years as a shiatsu and massage therapist has helped me develop talented intuitive hands that listen to what your body is trying to say.

Every massage requires your verbal input, so I won’t take it personally or push my own agenda if you tell me you want more or less pressure. Shiatsu pressure is at the heart of every massage I give, but I’ve also trained extensively in Swedish and Therapeutic massage techniques including trigger point, cross-fiber friction, and myofascial release. The combination of my training and experience with your input delivers a massage experience that puts the "ah" in massage.
